Kalu Rinpoche | Chenrezig practice (Part 2)

Then after that, once you are comfortable with the singular syllable, like a HRIH (ཧྲཱིཿ), with a flat moon, and a beautiful flower, and then you visualize the six-syllable (ༀ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྂ། – OM MANI PADME HUM) around it. And then after the six-syllable, then you visualize Avalokiteshvara two arms, right hand holding vase giving a nectar to all the sentient beings, and then, this is a Shangpa tradition, Shangpa Kagyu tradition. On the left hand he is holding a beautiful flower with an ornament, five jewels of ornament, and Amitabha on the crown and then beautiful clothing with the different brocade, and cloth.

And then at the same time, as you continue to make a progress, and then, at the last stage is, you make a visualization, as there is a radiance and nectar combined together, going in the ten different directions to liberate all the sentient beings, and all the sentient beings have been distanced from the reality of the suffering and has been reached to the state of the enlightenment.

And then with that in mind you come back and you be in the state of pure joy, and say “this is a great act, this is a great dedication, this is a great practice, this is a great result, this is great” or maybe just keep it simple “this is great, this is good” and then you bring down.

Then again, you come back to the syllable HRIH, you visualize the six-syllable and then you visualize from the crown of Avalokiteshvara, from Amitabha on his crown with the five jewels ornament, and the beautiful cloths, right hand holding vase, giving nectar to all the sentient beings, and then left hand holding a lotus, and then sitting one leg inside, one leg outside little bit, or standing posture, doesn’t matter. So then you repeat that again.
