Kalu Rinpoche | Creation and Completion (Session 6) | Mixing of awareness and space

And then now, here it comes the similarity between Taranatha teaching and Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thayé teaching, is just mixed between the categories. It says that “Ten tëd me kyong la yung rig se se wa yi” means, try to meditate your mind, try to focus your mind based on the non-existence place. “Ten tëd me” means no destination, no object, in a sense that you are visualizing “something” or looking forward into, right? So,

Ten tëd me kyong la yung rig se se wa yi
bog don don nam key kyil dang gyam tsoi ting

Like an example, looking into the space, looking into the sea, that is seen as a non-destination. Just simply gazing, and looking towards it, and meditating your mind.

tsa wa segla dren pey sel deb dja
de tse rig tong tha u med par tchar

and then due to that sort of meditation, the great profound experience of emptiness and the great sensation of knowing will emerge. “rig” means the great sensation of knowing. Basically the witnessing the emptiness. “tha u med par tchar” means immense or profound.

“[48] Ten tëd me kyong la yung rig se se wa yi
In sustaining nonfocusing, the mixing of basic space and intrinsic awareness
bog don don nam key kyil dang gyam tsoi ting
is enhanced by mixing the source, mind, with the center of space
tsa wa segla dren pey sel deb dja
or the midst of the ocean to illuminate mindfulness.
de tse rig tong tha u med par tchar
At that time, awareness-emptiness without center or circumference arises.”
