First of all I would like to start with Good evening and Tashi delek to all of you.
Then I would like to start the session with my deep gratitude to the board of directors and the volunteers of the Ganden Dharma Center for inviting me over here. Then of course the Center was founded by Lama Yeshe Rinpoche and then Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Then my gratitude for their bodhisattva compassion.
This is my first time in the Baltic region. This is Sonam Frasi la. Sonam Frasi la is a personal representative of His Holiness Dalai Lama of UK, the Western Hemisphere including the Baltic and the Scandinavian region*.
Then also a few years ago we were doing some sort of event in England and then Sonam la suggested for me to visit here in the Baltic region. So that’s why I am here today. And I am also very much aware that the Ganden Dharma Center brings so much awareness and importance for our Tibetan cause and the things that are going on inside and outside and bringing awareness to it. I want to say my gratitude for that as well.
So today we are talking about “How to apply the meaning of emptiness into our daily life”. So let’s start with you are going to be disappointed that you are not going to understand anything by end of the 2 hours session. So don’t have too much pressure like “I need to understand every bit of it, every single sentence. I need to have some form of great realisation, great insight”, all that pressure just don’t.
