So we are not there yet but what we can do is that, whether it is “Illusionary body and mind” whether it is Deity practice whether it is Niguma Yoga, be sincere, completely, 100%, when you’re practicing it.
When it comes to worldly things, you have to lie, you have to cheat, you have to pretend, you have to say things that you actually don’t meant, what you meant you actually don’t say and so on. Please do that! I encourage you to do that, even more!
Please try to go even more further! Because you can’t hold two things at one time: one is pretending to be a spiritual individual and then you use so much energy and time pretending to be something that you are not, which is a deception to oneself, and then when you’re practicing Dharma and then you have lack of awareness and lot of distraction. Then you finally conclude the session of the practice and then you say “I have done a good practice”, basically giving a benefit to your own fixation.
So therefore whether you’re practicing “Illusionary body and mind” whether it is Niguma Yoga, like I always says, with subtle distraction, ordinary distraction, one has to prioritise the recognition of it at all time. That the meaning of 100%.
Even you don’t practice for days but when you do it, do it sincerely, 100%, almost to the point that not knowing how even the time went, you know? That sense of willingness, like almost, like throwing yourself out there, you know?
