Kalu Rinpoche | Lunar New Year 2022: Year of the Tiger

First of all, I want to say Tashi Delek to all our participants from around the world and especially from Asia. I just want to say that the purpose of this online event is to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Chinese New Year.

In order to celebrate that for the upcoming year, to dispel all the obstacles, I choose the Six-Armed Mahakala prayers and practice, with everybody coming together, you know, so that we make a prayer for this new year and to have a more harmonious and then also more meaningful in our spiritual path.

So that in mind, we are going to do the Six-Armed Mahakala Puja, and we are going to recite several times of “kangwa”, again and again. And then also, I made, I prepared a lot of offerings here, with some alcohol, and a little bit of meat and a little bit of biscuits and incense and everything. So that’s that.
