So even if you do not practice everything, the little bit you practice, the little bit of appreciation from your side is necessary. That appreciation comes down to the reflection of oneself, it is not appreciation that you force yourself to be in a moment or be present or being forceful with yourself.
The appreciation to the Dharma comes down to how you reflect yourself. If you do not reflect yourself deeply, there is no appreciation to the Dharma, even you try your best. Because you do not want to, you want to look on the other side, you want to believe in a different version of the reality, right? So the appreciation to the Dharma is not like trying to be mindful, like “Oh, I appreciate this, I appreciate…”. No, even if you recite, repeat thousand times “I appreciate this, I appreciate…”, you will not appreciate.
Appreciating Dharma comes down to how you reflect on your life, yourself, the importance of your spiritual journey. And when you have a deeper sense of reflection in oneself and then appreciation to the Dharma comes on its own. Nobody has to tell you Dharma is precious, you will recognize the Dharma is precious, you will recognize the Buddha is the path, an exemplary figure leading to the enlightenment and realisation of the mind.
