Kalu Rinpoche | The purpose of the Niguma yoga (Part 2)

Niguma Yoga

When you do yoga, like an example, the ordinary, hatha yoga, I’m not trying to discredit them, or speak bad about them, but they emerged around the same time. Many of the people who do yoga, they say “oh, mindfulness”, and they make sure that they look attractive at the same time. So we are not going in that direction, don’t even think about it, okay? That’s number one.

Number two, this yoga, with this yoga, we are going to create a pure bliss into our mind, a profound bliss, and then being able to transform that bliss, or dissolve that pure bliss into the state of emptiness. That is our goal, over time. Not right now, but over time.

So with body and mind, combined together, and exercising, and we will be able to create a great bliss. Okay? And then dissolving that great bliss into the state of emptiness is our ultimate goal. Emptiness in a sense, recognizing the nature of mind. Right? Or absent from the illusion, absent from opinion.
