So now, what is the meaning of the Six arms? Now I’m getting into that:
– So the reason for the six arms is the symbolism, okay?, not that he wants to be six arms. Six arms is symbolising that he is the liberator of the six realms.
– And then the 1st right hand he is holding a curved knife that symbolises cutting through the negativity.
– And then also on the 1st left hand, he is holding a kapala filled with nectar.
– And then the 2nd right hand, he is holding a kapala mala and then that symbolises that he has calculated all the numbers of sentient beings. Because normally we say “the countless sentient beings”, right?, so he has calculated all the numbers of sentient beings.
– And then the 3rd right hand, he is holding a damaru [drum]. So that symbolises, has 2 meanings, either it says “magnetizing the dakas and dakinis”, that’s one explanation, symbolically. And the other explanation is “reflecting the sound of emptiness”, okay?
– And the on the (2nd) left hand he is holding a trident and that symbolises the Three Kayas.
– And then on the 3rd left hand he is holding a lasso [shakpa], that symbolises keeping the negativity at bay.
– And then his dark-blue colored skin symbolises Dharmakaya, emptiness.
– And then his 2 feet, always constantly in a moving posture, like always running towards, that symbolises that he cares about all the Dharma practitioner, the Six-Armed Mahakala practitioner. Therefore he is constantly in a rush to protect and guide those individuals.
