Don’t feel guilty or feel bad that “Oh, what about love? what about the family?” just go full acceleration, go completely full acceleration. Then once you make the changes from the bottom of the heart, then don’t repeat again. I think that is important in life.
If you read the history of Buddha Shakyamuni, Buddha Shakyamuni had many wonderful students and one of the students was Ananda ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ kunga wo. So regardless of how many examples that Buddha have shown the reality of the suffering, Ananda was not convinced at all. So gradually once convinced and then he reached Arhat (state), a realised state.
So therefore my advice to you is go full acceleration on mistake [haha], go full acceleration of the idea of whatever you have, just go full acceleration. Don’t think that Buddha is going to judge you. Buddha’s teaching is there as a presentation of the universal truth, it’s not there to make you feel guilty. Do you understand?
Buddhism teaching is not there to make you feel guilty. Buddhism teaching is there to see it as a solution, with your own choice. We are not here to divert you from the direction you want to go and the Buddhist teaching is not a law. Like many other religion they give you the impression of law, like you do this then Buddha is unhappy, you do that the Buddha will be happy. It is not like that. You do whatever you want, everything, anything. Don’t drink too much [haha], don’t do stupid things, right? But you do whatever you want but everything has to come within the depth of the realisation.
