Q: Can you explain a bit more what it means to let go of anger? … So we are aware of the anger but how exactly do we let go of it, this is in the later stage of this whole process, the third stage.
Kalu Rinpoche: Not the fourth stage, right? [haha] When we are at that stage, recognising the overwhelming negative energy brewing within us.
You can’t. [haha] Practice it, do your practice, do your meditation!
The longer you praise yourself with a little practice, the more you will suffer along the way.
The only solution is that you maintain with your practice. The best solution is to do retreat. I do not have a retreat company, okay? [haha] I am not trying to make money, I am not trying to make a recruitment here, I am not trying to say that you should abandon your family and abandon your job and all these things, I am not saying that.
All I am saying is that solitude retreat, once in a week, if you can, or once in a month or twice a month at least or once a day. Nobody cares when you watch a Netflix whole day, nobody cares. So why they should care if you are doing practice in your own home, you do what you want at your own home. So try to do at least twice a month retreat.
Like an example, 3 sessions, morning session, afternoon session, evening session. Then ending with the next morning session, starting with the first day evening session, 3 sessions, and then the third day morning session. Try to do like that.
