‘Namo Guru!’ means ‘do prostration to the guru’.
Guru is the essence of all the kindness and compassion of all the Buddhas and Boddhisattvas, and is the one who truly brings the meaning of truth and the one who gives us the true instructions. That kindness and compassion cannot be compared with anything, with anyone. Therefore I do prostration to my guru.
