Niguma and Dream Yoga Teachings with H.E. Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche.
Please join us for an extraordinary day of teachings and empowerments conferred by H.E. Kalu Rinpoche.
4 – 6pm: Niguma Transmission
Rinpoche will offer the long life empowerment of Niguma, which transmits her blessings for longevity and continued opportunity to engage in dharma practice. The wisdom dakini Niguma is the primary source of the teachings and practices of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage that Rinpoche heads. After engaging in spiritual practice for three incalculable eons, she attained rainbow body and received teachings directly from Vajradhara, the primordial buddha. She transmitted her teachings to Khyungpo Naljor who later founded the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage. Niguma continues to manifest in various forms in order to benefit and guide beings. In particular, she compassionately watches over those who wholeheartedly engage in her practices; she blesses them and ensures the success of their enlightened activity.
7 – 9pm: Dream Yoga
Rinpoche will be teaching the rare and special transmission of the Dream Yoga instructions from the 11th century yogini, Niguma. Rinpoche received the full transmission of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage from Venerable Bokar Rinpoche and completed his three-year retreat in 2008. Rinpoche continues the unbroken transmission of the Shangpa and Karma Kagyu Lineages, ensuring that these precious teachings remain available to those who seek to walk the blessed Path of Liberation.
