Annual exams for the monks took place the week of December 6, 2021. The subjects they were tested on were:

-Memorization and Scripture reading
-Handwriting and story writing
-Art and Drawing
-Tibetan Grammar
-Speech
-English
-Playing of instruments

All the monks are doing very well in their studies under the careful guidance of the Lamas. Their enthusiasm for learning and diligence is very commendable.

All the monks and Lamas are very grateful for the continued support of all the donors in providing the necessary funds to feed and care for the monks and lamas and to make sure they have the proper supplies and safe environment for learning.

They will all be future assets to the Buddhadharma and Kalu Rinpoche’s vision for the future.
