I think, those who are in the Vajrayana Dharma Center, not just here but other places, you will hear word, you know you are in a wrong place when somebody tell you “You will break your samaya”, you know? So you have to be careful when you hear that word, you know? When somebody says, whether Guru or the Dharma brother, sister say: “Oh if you do this, you will break your samaya with your Guru”, you know? And that’s when you have to be careful. That, that, that is a, that is a warning sign that you are in the wrong place, you know? Because if you, if you have a sense of awareness, sense of compassion, basic Buddhist principle, and then that samaya precept is not really a concern, you know?
Because samaya is not something separate from the basic foundation of being Buddhist practitioner. It’s part of it. So if you lack of sense of awareness, sense of reflection, you know, sense of commitment when it comes to practice little bit. And then obviously the samaya no longer exist, let alone losing anything. It even didn’t exist to lose it, you know? So, so you should not worry about, you know, “samaya, I’m going to lose it, and I’m going to break the samaya with him or her, or that Guru or this lineage”. Don’t worry about it, you know? Most important is like I said: “Buddha, existence of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattva is a, is the compassion to all the sentient being”, not being judgmental, you know? So specially, you know, like I said, you will never upset them, you know? So all of us as a sentient being, we will, we will always make a lot of mistakes, you know? So you should not squeeze yourself, you know? And then that’s not really good in a long run. Little bit of mistake here and there that will always happen and that should be always reflected and make a progress, reflect, make a progress. You should not be too uptight, you know? If you become too uptight, you will explode. Yeah.
You become, you become pretentious, pretentious? You become pretentious, and then that will be the downfall of your spirituality in a long run, you know? So, so that’s that.
Like an example, the example of the mistake, I will tell you.
The very same person that I told you the story to be inspired, can be the person that can reflect your spiritual path and you can be little bit flexible. Like an example, Milarepa, you know, we think that: “Ah he have always gone through lot of suffering, he worked very hard”. Yes he worked very hard, definitely without doubt, you know. But he also, you know, lied to his Guru, you know? Not just lie but he make a fake document. Because he want to receive the teachings so desperately, and then he ask Marpa wife, you know, just “Eh, if you can help me, little bit because your husband is very, you know, very Bodhisattva but not really generous when it comes to teaching. So if you can help me to make a fake document so that I can go to his students and receive the Dharma teaching” you know?. So he made a fake document, you know? So like a fake passport. So he made a fake passport and he was caught after. Him and the Marpa’s student who gave, who thought that it was a Marpa’s approval, permission, you know? So to that extent he made a mistake, you know? So you should not worry too much, you know? Saying: “Ah, I have to uphold the samaya”. No, that, don’t be too uptight. Yeah.

Wondrous Buddha of Boundless Light,
གཡས་སུ་ཇོ་བོ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་༔
YÉ SU JO WO TUK JÉ CHEN PO DANG
On your right, the Lord of Great Compassion,
གཡོན་དུ་སེམས་དཔའ་མཐུ་ཆེན་ཐོབ་རྣམས་ལ༔
YÖN DU SEM PA TU CHENTOP NAM LA
And on your left, the Bodhisattva of Great Power.
སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་སེམས་དཔག་མེད་འཁོར་གྱིས་བསྐོར༔
SANG GYÉ JANG SEM PAK MÉ KHOR GYI KOR
All are surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
བདེ་སྐྱིད་ངོ་མཚར་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་ཡི༔
DÉ KYI NGO TSAR PAK TU MÉ PA YI
There is wonderful, immeasurable happiness and joy
བདེ་བ་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་དེར༔
DÉ WA CHEN ZHÉ JA WÉ ZHING KHAM DÉR
In this realm called Sukhavati.
བདག་ནི་འདི་ནས་ཚེ་འཕོས་གྱུར་མ་ཐག༔
DAK NI DI NÉ TSÉ PÖ GYUR MA TAK
The moment I pass from this life,
སྐྱེ་བ་གཞན་གྱིས་བར་མ་ཆོད་པ་རུ༔
KYÉ WA ZHEN GYI BAR MA CHÖPA RU
Without taking another birth,
དེ་རུ་སྐྱེས་ནས་སྣང་མཐའི་ཞལ་མཐོང་ཤོག༔
DÉ RU KYÉ NÉ NANG TÉ ZHAL TONG SHOK
May I be born there and behold the face of Amitabha.
དེ་སྐད་བདག་གིས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པ་འདི༔
DÉ KÉ DAK GI MÖ NLAM TAPPA DI
Having made this aspiration,
ཕྱོགས་བཅུའི་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་སེམས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས༔
CHOK CHÜ SANG GYÉ JAN GSEM TAM CHÉ KYI
May all the buddhas and bodhisattvas of the ten directions
གེགས་མེད་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ༔
GEK MÉ DRUP PAR JINGYI LAP TU SOL
Give their blessing that it be fulfilled without hindrances.
ཏདྱ་ཐཱ༔ པཉྩེནྡྲི་ཡ་ཨ་ཝ་བོ་དྷ་ནཱ་ཡ་སྭཱཧཱ༔
